Green Hill Books
Trade Policy

We trade small paperbacks two for one. In other words, if you bring in ten small paperbacks you get five free small paperbacks to take home.  We do not give general store credit for these small paperbacks.  We prefer to take romances for romances, westerns for westerns, etc.
A small paperback is what we have in the store priced at $1.00.

We give up to 50 cents store credit for large (trade) paperbacks in good condition and we give up to $1.00 store credit for large hardbacks in good condition.  If the condition is not good we may give less store credit or let you keep the book.

What we cannot take: Readers Digest Condensed Books (yuk); most magazines, unless they are collectable; Books with missing covers; Books that contain food, excessive mold, animal urine, bad smells, candle wax, torn or missing pages, or that have water damage.

What we prefer to take: New books in all categories and non-fiction such as history, gardening, art, and religion. We also look for classic literature, western paperbacks, and science fiction.

We enjoy trading and want to continue to do so.  We believe this policy is fair and will benefit everyone.  Please remember we have to pay many bills here including a mortgage, utilities, phone, etc. etc. etc.  As a result, we cannot pay cash for books.

Thank you so much for, not only your business, but your friendship as well. We have great customers and we appreciate you!
